Absolutely, Bill. I love Gabor Mate’s statement about how “no two kids have the same parents” or something like that. It really helped me understand that my experience is still valid even though it’s different from other family members’ experiences and memories. It also helped alleviate the need to try and convince them of my version of the “truth.” Thanks for commenting on this!
