thank you for reading and writing as always. We are so similar in how we feel about writing. Thank you for sharing your experience and cheers to treating yourself with kindness for not writing this summer. Creating a real-life network and community of writer friends has been slow-going but rewarding. I'm glad to hear you have found some of your people, too.

Also, I just found another typo in this article but remembered Bird by Bird...and Lamott's advice to embrace "shitty first drafts" :) It's a great book that helped me address some of my perfectionism when it comes to writing.
