Hi Selena, thank you for your thoughtful comments. That’s so interesting about your experience with language. I can relate to the “clean, uncluttered by baggage” feeling of a second language. I felt that way about English when I first moved here. It was like a new way of being, like a clean slate. I don’t really know how to explain it but I think you understand. If I could pick any super power in the world, it would be to speak every single language.
