This isn't about monogamy vs non-monogamy. I don't value one over the other. It's very personal and unique to people and relationships what works best for them. The main problem in my article is the lack of maturity and honesty in relationships (younger me being the bad example here). This could have happened in all kinds of relationships because I wasn't able to be honest with myself or my partner, not because I was in the wrong type of relationship.
